Keeping chickens is easy. Keeping track is not.
- Eggs counted on a calendar by the back door, until the calendar disappears.
- Feed receipts in a drawer, and no idea if the eggs cost $3 a dozen or $9.
- A hen standing hunched in the corner, and forty browser tabs that all say something different.
- "When did we last do the mites?" Nobody remembers.
- Flock apps that want an account, show ads, and charge every single year.
Flock Keeper puts all of it in one calm place - built by the team behind Bird Venue, where thousands of chicken keepers read our guides every month.
Everything a small flock needs. Nothing it doesn't.
Eggs in one tap
A big + button for every egg. Daily, 30-day and monthly totals, laying rate, and a chart that shows the slow-down before you notice it.
Real cost per dozen
Log feed, bedding and the vet. Log egg sales. See the true cost per dozen and whether the flock pays for itself.
Symptom checker
Tap what you see - straining, sneezing, hunched - and get the likely causes, what to do right now, and when it is time for a vet.
Health log per hen
Dates, signs, treatments and the "no eggs until" date from the label. Hand it to your vet instead of guessing.
Hatch planner
Set the day the eggs go in. Get candling days, lockdown and hatch day, plus brooder temperatures week by week.
Jobs that remind you
Waterers daily, bedding weekly, mite check monthly, deep clean every season - ticked off and remembered for you.
Feed calculator
How much your flock eats, how long a bag lasts and what feed costs a month - plus which feed for which age.
Print your records
Roster, egg calendar, health log, cost log, hatch record and job chart - filled in from your data.
Private by design
No account and no cloud. Records stay on your device, with a one-tap backup file to move them anywhere.
Calm, clear steps - not forty browser tabs.
Chickens hide illness until they are quite sick, so the first hour matters. The symptom checker covers the 25 problems backyard keepers meet most: egg binding, sour crop, mites, heat stress, bumblefoot, breathing trouble, prolapse, pecking wounds and more.
- What it probably is, most likely first
- What to do now, in plain steps
- When to call a vet - in red, so you can't miss it
- The 5-minute health check and a first-aid kit list
A guide to act sensibly and early. It does not replace a vet who treats poultry.

Is the flock paying its way?
Most keepers guess. Flock Keeper knows: every bag of feed and every dozen sold, turned into a real cost per dozen and a 12-month balance. Great for the "are the chickens worth it?" conversation at home.

Questions
Is it an app from the App Store?
No - it is a web app, which is why it costs one payment instead of a subscription. Open the link on your phone and add it to your home screen; it then opens and works like any other app, including offline.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, and on tablets, Windows, Mac and Chromebooks - any up-to-date browser. Your key works on up to 3 devices.
Where is my data kept?
On your own device, in the browser. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account. Use Backup to save a file and move it to another device.
Do I need internet in the coop?
No. After the first open it works without a connection.
Is the health part a replacement for a vet?
No. It helps you notice problems early, do sensible first steps and know when to call a vet - and it says clearly when that is.
I have 3 hens. Is it worth it?
Small flocks are who it is made for. Most keepers have under 15 birds, and the cost-per-dozen and health log matter just as much for three.
Metric? Southern hemisphere?
Yes - Celsius and kilograms, any currency symbol, and seasonal tips that follow your hemisphere.
How do I get it after paying?
Your license key appears on screen and in your receipt email, with the link to open Flock Keeper and the two PDFs to download.
What if I don't like it?
Ask for a refund within 30 days, no questions asked - from your Lemon Squeezy order page or our help page.
